Boston Celtics planning to land Cameron Reddish

The Celtics made a terrific play by acquiring Malcolm Brogdon and then adding Danilo Gallinari. Gallo, on the other hand, injured his knee while on international service and will miss the entire season, leaving a gap in their rotation. To take advantage of this opportunity, the New York Knicks could choose to exercise Cameron Reddish's team option before moving him to the Boston Celtics in exchange for two 2023 second-round selections.

The Celtics could afford to be patient with Reddish because they have been with their other players. Cameron Reddish is only 23. There is always a chance that he will turn out to be good given the correct growth environment, even if the Celtics aren't the greatest environment for him and he needs to play a lot of minutes on a losing team instead.
