Lakers who are in the process to revamp their roster has not yet signed any of their free agent which also includes Carmelo Anthony. Lakers would need to make a move soon or Anthony could re-sign with Knicks. Marks recently said Anthony would be a good asset to the team but Lakers are hoping to add young blood to the relatively experienced roster. Anthony’s best option at the moment is signing with New York which has space for two more players at the moment.
Carmelo helped Lakers last season averaging 13.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in an average of 26 minutes over 69 games. His shooting numbers were even better with 44.1 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from the three-point range. Warriors are also ready to throw their hat in the ring as they chase after Melo to make up for the losses of Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Nemanja Bjelica.
