Cavaliers take 21‑man group to Spain for decisive training camp

The Cleveland Cavaliers have confirmed the 21 players travelling to Spain for training camp, including four invitees: Rashaun Agee, Zack Austin, Curtis Jones and Kadary Richmond. The three two‑way spots are already filled by Tristan Enaruna, Riley Minix and Ernest Udeh Jr., joining fourteen players under contract.

This structure leaves Cleveland with a key decision: whether any invitee deserves the final standard roster slot. The franchise is not obligated to carry a 15th player and could begin the season with fourteen or wait for a better option to emerge elsewhere. NBA rules allow up to 21 players during camp, but only 15 standard contracts plus three two‑ways in the regular season.

Cut players may still join the Cleveland Charge in the G League, remaining within the organization. The team departs on 29 September, with practices at The Embassy and a final scrimmage on 4 October in Malaga, shaping early roster choices.
