Dallas has been connected to a new, landmark trade for Deandre Ayton

Richaun Holmes, a veteran Kings centre, was part of one of the Mavericks' two separate deals on Draught night, which entailed a salary-dump. One of the conditions of Dallas' agreement with Sacramento was that Holmes couldn't be transferred for 60 days as a result of a trade aggregate up until September 6; however, that period of time has now passed.

Additionally, according to NBA insider Marc Stein, Phoenix and Dallas discussed trading Ayton for Tim Hardaway Jr., Holmes, and JaVale McGee on Draught night.
