Dallas Mavericks stuns Minnesota Timberwolves 109-108

With three seconds remaining Luka Doncic made the game-winning 3-pointer and recorded his fifth triple-double of the postseason to help the Dallas Mavericks defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-108 and pull his team towards a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

With his seventh triple-double in 42 career postseason games, Doncic finished with 32 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks. The team also overcame an 18-point hole that existed late in the second quarter and was still behind 16 midway through the third quarter. Thirteen of Kyrie Irving's twenty points came in the fourth quarter, including a last-second corner three-pointer with one minute remaining that cut the Mavericks' lead to two. With 13 seconds remaining, Anthony Edwards carelessly tossed the ball out of bounds during a drive, giving the Mavericks the opportunity to win. Timberwolves's Naz Reid had a good night as well, he went 7 for 9 from 3-point range for 23 points, but his last attempt failed at the buzzer.
