Danilo Gallinari open to NBA comeback

The Denver Nuggets have been among the busiest teams this NBA offseason, reshaping their roster after back-to-back second-round playoff exits. Looking to maximize the championship window around Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon, Denver kicked things off by trading Michael Porter Jr. and a first-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for sharpshooter Cameron Johnson. The move also created cap flexibility for further additions.

With that space, the Nuggets reunited with Bruce Brown, added veteran scorer Tim Hardaway Jr., and bolstered their frontcourt by trading with Sacramento for Jonas Valanciunas. These moves reflect Denver’s determination to build depth and balance on both ends of the court. Meanwhile, former Nugget Danilo Gallinari has resurfaced in the headlines. Speaking recently to Iacopo De Santis, the 36-year-old forward said he would welcome the chance to return to the NBA if an opportunity arises.
