The NBA regular season ends on Sunday, and the Denver Nuggets are competing for the top spot in the Western Conference. Unfortunately, the Nuggets have not confirmed if they will have players Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray for their regular-season finale against the Memphis Grizzlies. Jokic is still doubtful for the game due to discomfort in his left hip, while Murray has some swelling in his right knee.
The Nuggets' journey to the Western Conference's top seed was meticulously planned. With a monstrous win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on April 10th, the Nuggets just needed to win their last two games of the season against the San Antonio Spurs and the Memphis Grizzlies to secure the #1 spot. Unfortunately, the Spurs spoiled the fun for them. Devonte Graham's successful floater with 0.9 seconds remaining gave the Spurs a 121-120 victory over the Nuggets. Their loss has now forced a three-way tie with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder at the top.
