Utah Jazz star guard Donovan Mitchell exited the Pacers match early due to an ankle injury. Though the injury is not a significant one as per the X-rays but an MRI would reveal more information, as well as further treatment plan, which would be decided after that. Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said that the team is hopeful it isn't anything series. During the third quarter of the match, Mitchell sustained the injury and he was off the floor in 9 minutes after he landed wrong on his heel and was taken to the locker room.
The All-Star had scored 22 points against Pacers in 21 minutes and Jazz later powered through to beat the team 119-111. Mitchell is averaging 26.5 in points, 5.3 in assists, and 4.4 in rebounds.
