One more NBA player hangs up his shoes, Brazilian guard Leandro Barbosa retired from the basketball career and has joined the coaching team of the Golden State Warriors.
He played five FIBA Basketball World Cups from 2002 with Brazil, played at London, and Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2012 and 2016.
He was the second-leading scorer at the FIBA AmeriCup 2009 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He had impressed many with his speed and was thus named The Brazilian Blur". Barbosa was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year while he was with Phoenix Suns in 2007. While at Golden State he earned his one and only NBA title. Later on, Golden State did make it to the NBA finals with his help.
