Grizzlies 115-127 Nets

Kyrie Irving returns to the Brooklyn Nets after serving an eight game suspension. Ben Simmons was performing like an All-Star again. The Brooklyn Nets, who barely get a chance to enjoy normalcy for too long, could really use a night when the circumstance became less dense and their efforts finally became fruitful.

“It’s always nice to just focus on the game,” Kevin Durant commented cheerily.

Irving came back from his suspension with 14 points, Simmons jazzed up for his trip back to Philadelphia with a season-high 22 and the Nets defeated the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies 127-115. Durant bagged 26 points, providing him with at least 25 in all 17 games this season. That's the longest sprint to commence a season since Rick Barry did it in 25 straight in 1966-67.
