Memphis Grizzlies made a comeback against Minnesota Timberwolves with Jonas Valanciunas scoring 24 points with 16 rebounds, Grayson Allen putting in his season-high off the bench with 20 points to defeat Minnesota Timberwolves 118-107 on Wednesday. Memphis recorded their third straight game with Brandon Clarke also adding in 19 points to make a comeback in the fourth quarter which looked like 38-17.
Wolves put in a great effort as well with Malik Beasley adding 28 points for the night, D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns ended the night at 25 points each, Towns also added 14 rebounds additionally but could not outscore Grizzlies. This was the first of the two-game series in Minnesota, the next one is scheduled for Friday. Both the young clubs are struggling in NBA this season with injury and an ineffective roster.
