Portland Trail Blazers were on a four-game winning streak before heading to Atlanta to meet the Hawks on Monday. But the three-point barrage by Hawks ended their winning streak as Atalanta finished with 123-114 with the help of Danilo Gallinari and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Both the player shot 14 of 24 threes combined and Bogdanovic finished with 25 points was more dominant in the first half and later gave up control to Gallinari who score a team-high 28 points most of which came in the second half.
Atlanta’s All-Star Trae Young was on an off night on the floor shooting just 1-of-6 threes and scored 21 points and 11 assists. Together Atalanta overcame Damian Lillard’s 33 points and eight assists. In the end, Hawks shot 52.4% from the field and made 20 of 41 threes (48.8%) while Portland made 45.3% of their shots and 17 of 41 threes (41.5%).
