Hawks: Trae Young is nearing his comeback

The Atlanta Hawks continue to fight for a prominent spot in the Eastern Conference, currently boasting a 14-12 record that is worth the ninth place within the standings, despite the prolonged absence of their brightest star player.

Trae Young, in fact, only appeared in the first five games before stopping due to a troublesome knee injury, but excellent news is finally arriving for the franchise because the playmaker’s return seems very imminent.

According to the latest injury report, Young should resume training during the coming week, putting behind him the medial collateral ligament (MCL) sprain of the right knee suffered a month and a half ago against the Brooklyn Nets. His much-anticipated return is fundamental to re-energize the Hawks' struggling attack, considering that in his few appearances this year he averaged 17.8 points, 7.8 assists, and 2 rebounds per game.
