Heat beat the Hawks 120-111

Jalen Johnson led the way for the Atlanta Hawks with an impressive 21 points in just 17 minutes, all in the first half, during a 120-111 loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Despite having five players score in double figures, the Hawks fell short as a rough third quarter proved to be their undoing. After leading 69-66 at halftime, Atlanta was outscored 37-15 in the third, creating a deficit they couldn’t overcome in the final quarter.

Several key players, including rookie Zaccharie Risacher, Onyeka Okongwu, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and De'Andre Hunter, were held out of the game. To compound their struggles, center Clint Capela left the game after just seven minutes due to apparent ankle soreness.  David Roddy contributed 15 points in 33 minutes, while rookies Kobe Bufkin and Kevon Harris added 15 and 13 points, respectively.
