In the Hawks' victory over the Suns, Trae Young scores 43 points

Trae Young reached another big milestone of his career with 3,556 baskets, surpassing Al Horford for the tenth-most in team history after making 13 of 31 field goals. In addition to five assists, he was 11-of-14 on free throws and 6-for-12 on 3-pointers. He dropped a season-high 43 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 122-117 victory against the visiting Phoenix Suns. Atlanta also had 19 points from Garrison Mathews, who hit five 3-pointers, and 22 points and a career-high 21 rebounds from Onyeka Okongwu.

Devin Booker scored 35 points, while Kevin Durant led Phoenix with 31 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. The Suns have now dropped 11 straight games in Atlanta after their three-game winning run was broken. Wednesday marks the start of the Hawks' three-game road trip to Chicago. On Thursday, the Suns travel to Detroit for the second part of their five-game road trip.
