Kentucky’s big man Isaiah Jackson had expected to be picked up earlier in the 2012 NBA Draft but eventually, he was picked up by Indiana Pacers at No.22 after multiple trades. In the Draft this season, Jackson was considered one of the top defensive players and could even be used offensively as well if need be. His skills would be best put to use by Pacers.
He would get the chance to play under one of the best coaches in the NBA, Rick Carlisle. Indiana needed to add more depth to their roster this season and a 19-year-old rookie would be a boost to the team. Jackson also commented later that Pacers would be a great place for him to start his NBA campaign.
