Jayson Tatum could not care less if he wins this year's NBA Finals MVP trophy

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics moved one step closer to winning this year's NBA championship by defeating Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on the road. Tatum had his best game of the series, scoring 31 points with improved shooting efficiency. He received significant support from Jaylen Brown, who added 30 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Tatum's shooting struggles in the first two games had raised questions about his chances for Finals MVP if the Celtics win. However, Tatum remains unconcerned with such debates.

“Man, I want everyone to be at their best,” Tatum said, via Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. “I want everyone to contribute. Winning will take care of everything.” Tatum also reflected on his motivation in these Finals following the team's 2022 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
