Jayson Tatum explains why he stays around the Celtics during injury rehab

Tatum is expected to be out most of this season, although he's been very vocal and open about testing himself and looking to get himself back on the court sooner than expected.

With the 2025 season underway, Tatum has been present around the team both during home and away games, finding the importance of being with the team as much as possible. In an interview with Noa Dalzell of CLNS Media, Tatum explained why he is with the team as much as possible, wanting to be involved as much as he can even though he's not on the court.

"Yeah, it's tough," Tatum told Dalzell when asked about how he's handling being out of action. "I'm still dealing with rehabbing and getting better every day, but I'm not there able to play yet. This is my first time starting the season, and not being out there, it's tough."
