Jayson Tatum’s Addition in Team Brings a Victory.

Team USA went on for a monstrous victory against Spain, sending them back home. Spain’s Ricky Rubio scored massive points for his side, giving them a speeding head start. His 38-point haul kept them in the lead for a long time but then USA’s Kevin Durant gave a befitting reply by scoring 29 points for his side. Duke basketball standout Jayson Tatum was called in from the bench and he scored 13 points for the team. He played just 13 minutes and managed to add 3 rebounds and 2 assists in his play. He went off 3-of-5 from the 3-point range.

The American team will now take on Australia on Thursday’s semifinals. Australia has already defeated USA in an exhibition match in Las Vegas. Even if USA face a defeat from the Aussies, they will still have a chance to go for a bronze medal in the Olympics. Jayson and Kevin will have a major role to play in the semifinals.
