Midway through the third quarter, the Jazz extended their lead to nine points thanks to a great effort by Luka Samanic. Early in the fourth quarter, the Jazz overcame a nine-point Nuggets advantage to cut the margin to two with 6:32 remaining. And Agbahi's four-point run gave the Jazz the victory to end their home regular-season schedule. At 118–114, the Jazz defeated the Nuggets.
