Knicks makes some salary-cap space for Jalen Brunson

New York Knicks offers Detroit Pistons Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks to make some wage space for when they need to sign Jalen Brunson. New York Knicks with the trade of the center and guard has made $19 million in additional salary-cap space as the team preps for the $110 million deal with free-agent guard Jalen Brunson. Knicks also included two future second-round picks and $6 million for the player.

The 25-year-old has been an amazing asset at Dallas Mavericks serving as No. 2 beside All-NBA guard Luka Doncic, after being drafted in 2018. Last season he performed well as well averaging 16.3 points and 4.8 assists and with his assistance Mavericks went all the way to the Western Conference finals to break their 11-year-old draught. Knicks can now lure the player and offer him the role of primary playmaker.
