Knicks reportedly haven’t been willing to trade Jericho Sims or Miles McBride

Fred Katz of The Athletic reports that a number of New York's young players have also sparked trade interest. Jericho Sims and Miles McBride were left out of Katz's list of the three players most likely to be dealt before the trade deadline in February due to their cheap salaries. The Knicks, he said, have not been interested in dealing either player.

The Knicks have received inquiries regarding Miles McBride, SNY's Ian Begley revealed at the end of June. However, since then, New York has chosen to exercise McBride's club option for 2023–2024. He and Jericho Sims did not make Tom Thibodeau's nine-man rotation last year, but that does not devalue their contributions. Sims is listed third on New York's depth chart for centres, behind Isaiah Hartenstein and Mitchell Robinson.
