Lakers defeat Warriors as Curry's record night did not result in a win

LeBron James posted a triple-double with 22 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds to lead a depleted Los Angeles Lakers to a win against Golden State Warriors 128-97 with Stephen Curry having a better night with 27 points with four 3-pointers while he set the record as franchise assists leader after spending 12 seasons with Warriors. James was supported by Montrezl Harrell with 27 points adding it off the bench with 11-of-14 shooting.

Injury scared Lakers almost lost Harrell as well who took an elbow to his face from Warriors rookie centre James Wiseman but ended up giving up their four-match winning streak. Lakers announced a comeback after losing two away matches against Western Conference teams. Lakers are currently 9-3 on road against West teams and would host Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday and Warriors would take on Houston Rockets on road.
