In a preseason clash on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Golden State Warriors 111-97 in Las Vegas, after being unable to keep up with Golden State's second-half surge. Golden State, though more efficient, didn’t dominate from distance either, shooting 14-45 from three-point range (31.1%), but they managed 45.8% shooting from the field overall.
Anthony Davis stood out for the Lakers, delivering a stellar performance with 24 points on an impressive 10-12 shooting and adding 12 rebounds. LeBron James had a quieter night, contributing six points, two rebounds, and four assists. Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura stepped up offensively, with Reaves posting 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists, while Hachimura added 15 points and nine boards.
