Brooklyn Nets’ super trio may have inspired Lakers to do something similar with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Los Angeles Lakers are optimistic about signing All-Star big man Andre Drummond over to their side which would give Lakers a much-needed boost as the reigning champions suffer without Davis to support them in NBA.
Drummond though needs to agree on a buyout as well from Cleveland Cavaliers. The team has held onto Drummond since mid-Feb hoping to find a profitable trade for him but the chance to bring him on would expire on 25th March and they are running out of time. The 27-year-old is owed $28.8 million this season, and the amount has made trading more complicated. The Big man is known for his rebounding and rim-running skills and would make a good addition to Lakers.
