Lakers' Talen Horton-Tucker sidelined for a long time

The star-studded team of Los Angeles Lakers would have to make do without Talen Horton-Tucker for a long while after he undergoes surgery to repair a torn ligament in his thumb. Lakers have not yet released a confirmed date for Horton-Tucker's return as injuries pile up over former champions and we are just approaching the end of the preseason here.

Horton-Tucker missed Sunday’s match with Phoenix Suns but it seems like he would miss a lot more as the extent of his injury would be re-evaluated in four weeks. Lakers have already been bulldozed by the injury train when they received the news that Trevor Ariza would be out for a week. Even Monk would be out for a while so, but they do have Kendrick Nunn, Kent Bazemore, and Wayne Ellington in the roster.
