Lou Williams climbs up the sports bulletin with rumors on his interest in a multi-year deal in the offseason. The veteran player though interested in returning to the Hawks next season is inclined to involve in a two-year free agency and a three-year right fit in the light of the previous season.
The 34-year old drove with the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Final totaling 24 regular-season games and was a part of all the 18 post-season games following a midseason trade from the Los Angeles Clippers. The trade from LA resulted in dropping numbers from averaging 20.4 points and 5.4 assists to averaging 11.3 points and 3.4 assists per game. As a two-time Sixth Man of the Year, Williams was a strong backup and part-time replacement to Trae Young with 38 points and 13 assists against the Bucks.
