Desmond Bane scored 24 points, and Luke Kennard added 23 with a season-high seven 3-pointers as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Charlotte Hornets 132-120 on Wednesday night. Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 22 points, while Ja Morant posted a double-double with 16 points and 13 assists. Memphis shot 50% from the field, with Bane going 10 of 15 and Kennard 8 of 12, securing the team’s fourth straight win.

Mark Williams shined for Charlotte, scoring a career-high 38 points on 14-of-18 shooting. LaMelo Ball added 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, while Miles Bridges scored 17 points. Despite their efforts, the Hornets saw their three-game winning streak snapped. Memphis dominated early, leading by 13 after the first quarter and outscoring Charlotte 40-23 in the second. The lead ballooned to 34 in the third, allowing Memphis to withstand a late 12-0 Hornets run.
