Tremont Waters joins the NBA Champions as the team adds depth to the backup guard rotation. Bucks also have Grayson Allen and former Celtics Semi Ojeleye as well in the same position. Waters joined Celtics after he was drafted in the 51st spot in 2019, in the two years he played as a two-way player and grabbed the Rookie of the Year award in 2019-20 with Boston’s G-League team.
In the 36 games, he averaged 18.0 points, 7.3 assists, and 3.2 rebounds that season. In the last season, he even played for Celtics for 26 matches and averaged just 3.8 points, and 2.4 assists, shooting 40.5 percent from the field. Before putting pen to paper Waters even played for the Houston Rockets Summer League team in Las Vegas and now becomes a part of Bucks roster.
