Nuggets get back to winning ways by beating Heat 120-111

Denver Nuggets’ free fall down the table with their longest losing streak in nearly six years finally ended with a win over Heat. Nikola Jokic returned to the lineup to score 24 points while Aaron Gordon added 20 and they took down the depleted Miami by 120-111. Nuggets also saw a contribution from Bones Hyland, who scored 19 and Will Barton, who added 14 more.

The reigning NBA MVP missed the last four matches due to a wrist injury and the Nuggets suffered without him losing all the four matches without him. Jokic also contributed 15 rebounds and seven assists as well, to lead the team to a win as Denver shot 58% on the day. Heat was without Jimmy Butler (bruised tailbone), and Tyler Herro (body soreness) for the match and relied on Bam Adebayo who scored 24 points and 13 rebounds but could not see off the team to a win.
