Patrick Patterson and Blazers strike a training camp deal

After spending two seasons with the Clippers, Patrick Patterson might be headed to Portland Trail Blazers. With the new season around the corner quality free agents have already been bagged by the franchises but Portland still struck gold with Patrick Patterson. The ex Kentucky Wildcats player has been playing in NBA for 11 years but hasn't yet spent more than four years at any franchise.

Still, his skills have often earned him a place in the squad of contending teams and now he has even agreed to a training camp deal with Portland. The 32-year-old’s big size and the ability to shoot has never been in question, last season itself he averaged 5.2 points per game and hit 1.1 threes as well. The 6-foot-8's career average also shows he shot 36.9% shooter from deep.
