Patty Mills, an experienced point guard, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Jazz. The $3.3MM agreement is equal to Mills's minimum pay of $3,303,771 for 2024–2025. It will be a 100% guaranteed deal as well. Mills turned 36 on Sunday and will begin his 16th NBA season. The 2009 second-round pick spent most of his prime years in San Antonio, where he won a title in 2014 and worked with current Jazz head coach Will Hardy, who was then an assistant under Gregg Popovich from 2015 to 21.
Hardy is currently the head coach of the Jazz and added Mills after witnessing his game firsthand. He has played in 892 regular season games for five different teams. The Australian demonstrated during this year's Olympics in Paris that he still had it in him. He averaged 16.5 points per game with a.409 three-point shooting during the Boomers' four games.
