After losing 10 games in a row, New Orleans Pelicans broke the losing streak with a triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers by 131-121 on Saturday. This happened despite LeBron James, the Lakers superstar had sneaked closer to the all-time scoring record of National Basketball Association.
Brandon Ingram wobbled off a no-score first quarter to lead the Pelicans with 35 points. New Orleans turned the match against the Lakers Team that scored 72 points in the initial half, when CJ McCollum added 23 points and 21 points were added by Trey Murphy. James scored 27 points and now he needs 36 to overtake the record of 38,387 of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The average of James in this season is more than 30 points and this is expected to increase in the next week when the Lakers will host Oklahoma City and Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
