Phoenix Suns defeated the Indiana Pacers 117-110

In lieu of Tyrese Haliburton, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle started T.J. McConnell, Buddy Hield, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner, while Suns coach Frank Vogel stuck with his starting lineup.

Devin Booker scored ten points in the first quarter to give the Suns a 33-25 lead after one period. The team got off to a fast start in the contest. Phoenix carried that momentum into halftime, leading 65–61. Every player that played for the Pacers scored in the first half, but Jalen Smith, a former Sun, led the way with 13 points in just 11 minutes of play. Throughout the last quarter, the Pacers stayed close to the lead and, after an 11-0 run, they seized the lead with 3:20 left. Bradley Beal and Grayson Allen each scored crucial baskets at the right times to give the Suns enough cushion to win on the home floor.
