Raptors bench disappoints against Nuggets

Totonto Raptors faced another NBA powerhouse and the results stayed the same. Raptors were leading in the third quarter against Nets and in the fourth, they were held to 36-20 to lose the match. Against Denver Nuggets, Raptors trailed by two points but could not fight again in the fourth and lost by 121-111 in the ends. OG Anunoby was in form with his 25 points, Khem Birch hit his career-high 20 points as well and Kyle Lowry hit the same.

In the end, Raptors’s bench contributed almost nothing to lift the team in the last quarter while Anunoby and Pascal Siakam also slowed down in the second half contributing to just eight points together. Nikola Jokic ended with just 19 points and 11 rebounds and 2 assists while Michael Porter Jr. scored 23. A comparison of the bench would give a better picture, Nuggets got a better contribution from the bench than the Raptors by 48-19.
