Raptors hand another loss to Wizards in the preseason finale

Toronto Raptors beats Washington Wizards by 113-108, the duo of Malachi Flynn and Sam Dekker combined for 25 points in the last quarter in the pre-season finale. The fight for the roster spot is tight and both the players are making a good play for it. Flynn in the end had 22 points, while Dekker scored 18 points in the bid to secure one of the three roster spots that are vacant.

Raptors ended their preseason with a 3-2 record with Veteran guard Goran Dragic, adding 16 points for the win. This time Nurse opted to rest Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby giving others a chance to shine through in the preseason. Raptors roster fought back from the 13 point deficit to level at 58-58 at halftime and then outscored the side in the last quarter to deny Wizards a win. Both the team would now meet in the opener on 20th October at Scotiabank Arena.
