Sacramento Kings beat the Portland Trail Blazers 121-82

In the Sacramento Kings' regular-season finale against the Portland Trail Blazers, De’Aaron Fox led the charge with 24 points, securing a convincing 121-82 victory. This win ensured the Kings at least one more home game as they head into the play-in tournament, where they'll face the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of last year's first-round series.

Despite initially aiming for a top-six finish, the Kings' recent struggles led them to the play-in tournament. They'll now have to navigate through it without key injured players Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter. Coach Mike Brown expressed eagerness for the challenge, emphasizing the team's readiness to face any opponent. The Kings dominated the finale against a depleted Blazers team, establishing a 20-point lead in the second quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Domantas Sabonis contributed significantly with 18 points and 11 rebounds, marking his 77th double-double of the season, the most since Moses Malone achieved a similar feat in 1978-79.
