Sacramento Kings earned their first win against the Blazers 111-98

The Sacramento Kings earned their first win of the season, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 111-98 on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 24 points and surpassed 10,000 career points, becoming the fifth player in franchise history to achieve the milestone. Fox’s pivotal 3-pointer in the third quarter expanded Sacramento’s lead, which grew to 26 points in the fourth. DeMar DeRozan added 23 points, including 19 in the first half, while Domantas Sabonis contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Kevin Huerter scored 18. The Kings shot an impressive 23 of 25 from the free-throw line.

For Portland, DeAndre Ayton recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds, joining Bill Walton as the only Blazers to start a season with four consecutive double-doubles. However, Portland struggled from beyond the arc, hitting only 4 of 22 attempts after a strong 3-point shooting stretch in recent games.
