Sixers fell 128-98 to the Orlando Magic

The Sixers fell 128-98 to the Orlando Magic in their preseason home opener Friday. Tyrese Maxey shone in just the first quarter, scoring 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including three of six from three, with two assists. Dominick Barlow impressed again, posting 12 points and nine rebounds, six offensively, while Kelly Oubre Jr. also scored 12 and Kennedy Chandler added 16. Key players, including Joel Embiid, Paul George, Kyle Lowry, VJ Edgecombe, Quentin Grimes, and Jared McCain, did not play. 

Oubre struggled early, missing opportunities, but found rhythm in the second quarter with transition buckets, lobs, and creating for teammates. Chandler made a few smooth layups, but Barlow remained the standout performer, showing versatility and energy that kept the Sixers competitive despite the loss.
