Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid dropped 27 points and helped the team to a 127-111 win over Hawks in the Eastern Conference playoff series. Embiid also scored 9 rebounds and 8 assists as well to help the team to a 2-1 lead after the Sixers ended Hawks' 13-game winning streak at home on Friday. Ben Simmons scored 18 points and seven assists, Tobias Harris had 22 points as the 76ers entertained 16,400 fans at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Both the teams would meet again on Monday for Game four. Sixers went 52 percent overall and were 47 percent from beyond the arc while Hawks were 6/23 on the other side. Sixers held back Trae Young, to 28 points in 37 minutes of play while John Collins chipped in with 23 points and Clint Capela with 8 points and 16 rebounds.
