Sixers would be without two key youngsters in Abu Dhabi Games

The Philadelphia 76ers are preparing for the NBA's Abu Dhabi Games, but they will be without two young players who show promise. Anticipation for their next games against the New York Knicks was growing as the squad wrapped off its final training camp practice. But Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain's absence is a major concern. The Sixers are particularly concerned about Jared McCain's circumstances. During a training session earlier this week, the 22-year-old guard tore his UCL, potentially causing him to miss four to six weeks of action. 

McCain is joined on the sidelines by Quentin Grimes, who is currently negotiating a deal with the Sixers. Grimes would also be absent from the trip. Given the promise both players have displayed in preseason practices, Grimes and McCain's absences present the organization with a roster vacuum. As they get ready for their overseas games, the Sixers will need to make changes to their lineup and approach.
