Steph Curry won the NBA Finals MVP

Golden State Warriors have had one constant presence in their squad for over a decade now, Steph Curry. The Player has helped the side win three NBA Championships over the years but could never lift the NBA finals MVP, in the past the MVP was awarded to Andre Iguodala and Kevin Durant lifted the other two. At TD Garden now that the fourth NBA trophy is won by Warriors in the past eight years Curry has got his hands on the coveted Bill Russell Trophy for the NBA finals MVP as well. Curry was overjoyed at receiving the award and even teared up when he was presented the award, he stated “This one’s different.”.

As the trophy has eluded the Warriors star many times in the past there were speculations that Andrew Wiggins would sneak in and steal the award as Curry visibly struggled in Game 5.
