Talen Horton-Tucker chooses to play for Jazz

Just two days before Talen Horton-Tucker's decision-making deadline, it has come to light that Horton-Tucker is opting into his $11 million agreement with the Utah Jazz for next season. In 65 games last season, including 20 starts, Horton-Tucker averaged 10.7 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.2 rebounds for the Jazz. The 23-year-old had some standout games towards the end of the regular season despite shooting just 42 percent from the field and 28 percent from beyond the arc.

The player averaged 20.2 points, 6.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds over his final 15 games of the campaign while shooting 43 percent from the field and 31 percent from outside the arc. During that time, the Jazz were 5-10. In a strong backcourt that included Kris Dunn, Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton, and Ochai Agbaji last season, Horton-Tucker provided depth to the Jazz’s roster.
