The Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 134-93 on Wednesday night, setting a team record for assists and Tyler Herro scoring 21 of his 31 points in the third quarter.
The Heat's 42 assists were one more than their 41 from their March 29 matchup with Portland. The 41-point win margin was the third-largest in team history, and they tied another franchise record with 24 3-pointers. Bam Adebayo had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists for the Heat, while Jimmy Butler scored 17 points. The Lakers, who have lost six of eight games, including their past two by a combined score of 70 points, had 29 points from LeBron James. The Lakers added 14 points thanks to Rui Hachimura. James ended a six-game run of shooting below 50% by making 12 of his 18 shots.
