The scoring spree from Wembanyama is too much for Utah to handle

Utah is now 0-3 in the NBA Cup qualification games after the Utah Jazz lost to the San Antonio Spurs. The score was 128 to 115 in the end. Victor Wembanyama, the league's next big thing, led the Spurs with 34 points and six three-pointers. Stephon Castle, a spectacular rookie from San Antonio, scored 23 points. The Jazz, led by Keyonte George with 26 points, took the lead in the first half and fought hard in the second. John Collins and Collin Sexton both scored 20 points.

After an uncomfortable knee collision with Victor Wembanyama, Lauri Markkanen, who had a poor shooting night, missed a portion of the fourth quarter. Markkanen might even miss the following several games since knee injuries are usually frightening. The Spurs, who defeated Utah 3-1 in the series, have also won their previous 4 games.
