Timberwolves pull down Blazers with 109-107

Minnesota Timberwolves rallied in the last quarter with Anthony Edwards driving with 40 points to defeat Portland Trail Blazers 109-107 on Tuesday night. Wolves also saw a big contribution from Karl-Anthony Towns with 17 points and 17 rebounds and the team improved their record to 24-23 Wolves see an improvement in their record from last year 23-49. Blazers had the support of Jusuf Nurkic who scored his 6th consecutive double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, this is also the longest streak of his professional career.

Timberwolves were trailing for the most part of the match until their last quarter rally pulled them ahead. D'Angelo Russell’s 3-pointer pulled the team to 102-95 and they needed to maintain the lead for the next 4:26 minutes. Russell wrapped up the match with 22 points and helped the team to a 109-107 win.
