Trail Blazers obtain Jerami Grant from Pistons

As per the reports, Portland Trail Blazers get their hands on Jerami Grant of Detroit Pistons and in return have given away 2025 1st-round pick as well as No. 36 pick of 2022, and a second-round pick of 2025. As part of the deal, Blazers will also pay $21 million as part of the agreement.

Trail Blazers didn't give up much in the deal their No. 7 pick in this year's draft is still intact and this gives them a chance to add young talent to the squad and build a core team. In fact, Blazers could also trade the pick away for a better player, they are considering a deal with Toronto Raptors for OG Anunoby in exchange for the seventh pick. Pistons on the other hand are just creating space in their salary cap with the deal.
