Utah Jazz beat Kings 128-120

On Monday night, the Jazz played host to the Sacramento Kings, the third-placed club in the Western Conference. Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton, starters for Utah, as well as standout forward Lauri Markkanen, were absent. Despite the injuries, the Jazz promptly grabbed control of the game. They had a 40-19 advantage after one quarter. The squad was passing the ball, Ochai Agbaji and Simone Fontecchio were making threes, and Walker Kessler was controlling the paint.

In the second quarter, the Kings started to get into a groove, but the Jazz maintained a comfortable advantage. Sacramento's offence was balanced, while the Jazz's was paced by De'Aaron Fox. Talen Horton-Tucker, Kriss Dunn, and Kelly Olynyk all made big contributions. The Kings' best performance came in the third quarter. Many threes were being made, particularly by youngster Keegan Murray. With a 43-27 drubbing in the third, Sacramento quickly got back into the game.
