Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles is sidelined for the rest of the season with an ACL tear after the heartbreak fall he suffered during Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The news is not surprising to the team who witnessed his shocking fall and expected a serious injury but thankfully there was no additional structural damage in the knee which was revealed by his MRI.
The 34-year-old would undergo surgery and miss the rest of the current campaign and even the starting of the 2022-23 season as well. It is a major blow to Jazz, as they lose a critical team player, the veteran sharpshooter averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.9 rebounds over 24.9 minutes per game this season and has been with Jazz for over eight years taking part in 590 career NBA games.
