Golden State Warriors’ fourth-quarter rally helped the side with a close 101-98 triumph over Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night to lead the Western Conference semifinals by 3-1. The Warriors are close to making a Finals appearance just need one more win to make that happen. Stephen Curry powered the team with his 32-point contribution and even converted free throws within the final 45.7 seconds to keep the Warriors ahead in the fight. Warriors star also dished out eight assists and grabbed five rebounds as the team played without coach Steve Kerr who had tested positive for COVID-19 right before the match.
If the Warriors do advance to the next round it would be their first Western Conference finals appearance since 2019. Warriors took advantage of the fact that injured All-Star Ja Morant missed the matchup for Memphis and without him, the team struggled to score. His status for Game 5 is still unclear.
